Server rules

General rules

1. Be respectful

   You must respect all users, regardless of your liking towards them. Treat others the way you want to be treated. All forms of hate speech will not be tolerated.
   
   

2. No Inappropriate Language
   The use of profanity should be kept to a minimum. However, any derogatory language towards any user is prohibited.
   
   

3.  No spamming
   Don't send a lot of small messages right after each other. Do not disrupt chat by spamming.
   
   

4. No pornographic /adult material
   This is a community server and not meant to share this kind of material.
   
   

5. No advertisements
   We do not tolerate any kind of advertisements, whether it be for other communities or streams. You can post your content in the media channel if it is relevant and provides actual value (Video/Art)
   
   

6. No offensive names and profile pictures
   You will be asked to change your name or picture if the staff deems them inappropriate.
   
   

7. Direct & Indirect Threats
   Threats to other users of DDoS, Death, DoX, abuse, and other malicious threats are absolutely prohibited and disallowed.
   
   

8. Follow the Discord Community Guidelines
   
   

9. Do not join voice chat channels without permission of the people already in there
   If you see that they have a free spot it is alright to join and ask whether they have an open spot, but leave if your presence is not wanted by whoever was there first.
   
   

10. Compensation and Ticket system
    - For any type of compensation, you must open a ticket and have video/photo evidence/proof to be compensated, without evidence you will not be compensated!
    - Claims of hacking/cheating/glitching/exploiting, ect must be supported with valid video evidence and if possible a timestamp of when the issue occurred
    - For any inquiries about the server please make a ticket, do not DM Staff members.
    - Abuse of the ticket and compensation system will result in a ban.
    
    The Admins and Mods have the right to and will Mute/Kick/Ban per discretion. If you feel mistreated a ticket and an Admin and we will resolve the issue.
    
    All Channels will have pinned messages explaining what they are there for and how everything works. If you don't understand something, feel free to ask!
    
    Your presence in this server implies accepting these rules, including all further changes. These changes might be done at any time without notice, it is your responsibility to check for them.

Ingame Rules

1.0 In game rules.

1.1 do not distribute privateinformation, and or dox/ddos members.

1.2 do not hack/cheat/exploit or glitch on the sever.

1.5 be respectful towards staff when they’re there to help and make your experience easier.

2.0 Safezones

There is only one safe zone on the Extraction Sever, this area is the lobby in which you spawn in. The rules of this area are the following,

2.1 do not block peoples access to traders and atms intentionally or to troll.

3.0 PVP & PVE

All areas outside of the safe zone are places you can be killed or kill another player/AI.

3.1 Do not camp spawn points, these being the places people spawn in when the use an Area card to go to locations on the map.

3.2 in game teams will be limited to 4 players per group.

4.0 base building

4.1 base building is not enabled on the Extraction sever as of now.

5.0 Meta Gaming.

Meta gaming is not permitted for use on Extraction in game or over other programs. Our definition of meta gaming is,

- if a player were to die and then call out the death location ect, over in-game text channels or over discord text channels to the public/team.

Note that you can call out to your team mates in a Voice channel Additional information on rules.

“1.4 do not hack/cheat/exploit or glitch on the sever.” In the first initial release of the sever glitching will be allowed only so we can iron out mapping errors.

Monetization Guidelines

All funds that are obtained through the donations of players through all means of payment to the Extraction team on DayZ servers will strictly be used to assist in covering the costs of running the server and/or providing the player with

Custom retextured assets and priority queue that do not provide any in-game advantage of any kind, the assets exist purely as a reward people can obtain to show their support of the Extraction server. Players who do not participate in funding the Extraction server will receive no unfair treatment and will not be prevented from joining the server.
